Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast at your hotel, together with your guide driver to queen Elizabeth National Park; en-route stopover at the Equator crossing to take some photos. Enjoy lunch in Mbarara town and later continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your drive down into the park you will make a stop to marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Great Rift Valley plus the Rwenzori mountains. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Institute Hostel
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
On having breakfast, set out Chimpanzee trekking within the verdant Kyambura Gorge see the charming chimpanzees plus other primates species such as the baboons, vervet monkeys and colobus monkeys. Later drive back for lunch at the lodge. Later enjoy a boat cruise in the afternoon on the impressive Kazinga Channel to marvel at the various animals that reside around its banks. The channel connects Lakes Edward and George and is bursting with hundreds of hippos, elephants and buffaloes. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Institute Hostel
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth – Transfer to Murchison Falls
In the early morning set out to enjoy a game drive to see the early morning risers plus predators such as lions and leopards returning from their hunt. Among the animals you will see will be bush bucks, elephants, leopards, warthogs, water bucks, spotted hyenas and jackals. Return for a late breakfast at the lodge and later depart for Fort Portal Town. On arrival spend the evening at Leisure. Day 4: Fort Portal to Murchison Falls
Today continue to Murchison Falls National Park with a box of packed lunch or alternatively stop in Hoima town for lunch. Advance on to Murchison falls where you will arrive in the evening. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Chobe Safari Lodge
Day 5: Game Viewing
After a morning cup of African tea, embark on a morning game drive on the northern bank where our safari guide will help you spot elephants, lions, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, Harte beasts, waterbucks, Oribi, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas, and on rare cases leopards across an open savannah dotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta Return to the lodge for breakfast as you refresh yourself at the pool side. After lunch, a three hour boat trip along the Nile gives you a guarantee to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic bird species including Goliath Herons, Egyptian Geese, Pelican Bee-Eaters, Kingfishers, Horn Bills, Cormorants and the Rare Shoebill Stork can be seen along the shores of the River. Day 6: Murchison Falls – Kampala / Entebbe Intn’l Airport
After breakfast, embark our safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route, thereafter drive again to Entebbe airport to get your return flight back home.
