Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at the international Airport in Entebbe for this thrilling Uganda Holiday, you will be received by a representative and safari guide / driver from Africa Nature Trekkers who will transport you to your place of accommodation within the town of Entebbe. Overnight stay at Airport Guesthouse
Day 2: Entebbe – Transfer to Ngamba Island
Enjoy a peaceful breakfast and unwind through the morning prior to visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Wildlife Conservation Trust (CSWCT) office to complete the official procedure and requirements for our visit to the wonderful Ngamba Island-Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Following an enjoyable boat ride we will arrive at Ngamba Island, and head to the visitors’ centre to discover more concerning the Uganda chimpanzees and their interesting lifestyle. Later Check-in at our accommodation and pleasure in the quiet at the spectacular lake shores. Dine and slumber at Ngamba Island Tented Camp.
Day 3: Ngamba Island – Kampala
Early morning, head out for a Forest Walk in search for chimpanzees! You will enjoy the presence of numerous young chimpanzees and get the opportunity to personally contact them, as they climb up on you, haul your hair and even walk holding your hands. This is an exceptional and memorable encounter! Following this you will have a hefty breakfast and then unwind at the lovely island before returning to the mainland. A delegate from Africa Nature Trekkers will be waiting to receive you on the mainland and transport you to your accommodation in Kampala. Day 4: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Today we head to Murchison Falls National Park the most stunning protected area in the whole of Uganda. Have lunch in Masindi prior to entering the park and crossing river Nile to our place of accommodation in the heart of the National Park. Dine and slumber at Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park
Following early breakfast we begin the day with an exciting game drive along the northern bank of River Nile, with opportunities of seeing hartebeest, giraffes, lions and elephants in addition to various bird species. After lunch, continue for an exciting boat cruise down the Nile to view game at close proximity. On reaching the base of the great falls, you will get off the boat and walk to the peak of the dramatic Murchison Falls to marvel at the spectacular sights. From there we will proceed to the yet again exciting southern region of the Murchison Falls National Park to spend a night in the heart of the verdant tropical forest. Dine and slumber at Budongo Eco Lodge.
Day 6: Murchison Falls National Park
Today we spend the entire day in Budongo Forest Reserve at the chimp habituation. You will observe the chimpanzees from the start of the day as they climbing out of their nests, enjoyably you will watch them play on the ground, rest in the trees and feed. In the company of a skilled ranger you will pass the whole day in the company of these astonishing chimps until later in the day when they retire to sleep. Dine and slumber at Budongo Eco Lodge.
Day 7: Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala
Today you will further enjoy the splendid beauty of this forest, before leisurely driving back to the capital Kampala. on the way we will stop at the stunning Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is habitat to the only existing wild rhinos in the whole of Uganda. This reserve was primarily established to reintroduce the then phasing out rhinos in Uganda, which had been extinct from 1982. In the company of a skilled ranger you will track these rhinos and watch them meandering in their natural habitat at close and very safe distance. Day 8: Departure
Filled with splendid memories of the wonderful experience you had through this Uganda Safari, you will bid goodbye to Uganda –‘the Pearl of Africa’. Basing on the schedule of your departure flight, you will be escorted to Entebbe International Airport to catch your.
